Looped Transformer Architecture Diagram (Editable PowerPoint)
Overview
This editable PowerPoint diagram redraws a modified looped Transformer with global–local KV joint attention. It is adapted from the original paper figure under CC BY 4.0.
What the diagram shows
It compares three architectures side by side: (a) a Dense Transformer, (b) a Full Loop and (c) an Asymmetric Loop. Panel (d) zooms into the decoder layer for round t and shows how its Global–Local KV joint attention works. Every box, arrow, label and attention-matrix glyph is a native shape, so you can recolor, resize and relabel it for your own slides, posters or papers.
File format
The download is a single-slide .pptx file measuring 11.67 × 6.97 in. It opens in PowerPoint, Keynote, WPS and LibreOffice Impress. Google Slides works too, although complex freeforms may shift slightly. A full-resolution preview.png and a 1200 px web preview are included.
Shapes and editing
The figure is built from 155 native editable shapes: 56 auto-shapes, 43 freeforms, 30 lines or connectors and 26 text boxes. It contains no embedded images, so everything is vector. You can change colors, strokes, text, math labels (e.g. Kglob, Vloc, Z(t)l) and the layout, and you can ungroup or reuse any panel on its own: (a) Dense, (b) Full Loop, (c) Asymmetric Loop or (d) the decoder layer for round t.
Fonts and limitations
The text uses the font "P052", a Palatino-style serif. If you don't have it, your app will substitute a similar serif and some labels may need small spacing tweaks. Math sub- and superscripts are formatted text runs, not equation objects. This is a faithful redraw for reuse, not the authors' original source file.
